Vattilappam is a delicious and sweet food recipe. It is one of the most famous south Indians eid day special recipe. This recipe is popular in Sri Lanka too. some people make it with jaggery, coconut milk and caramel. The very tastiest method is given here. Vattilappam recipe Ingredients: 6 egg 6 tbsp sugar 6 tbsp milk powder 2 tsp condensed milk 25 gm cashew nut (paste) 6 almond ( paste) 6 tsp ghee 1 pinch Cardamom powder Method:        Pour eggs into a blender. Then add sugar, milk powder, condensed milk, ghee, almond paste, cashew paste and cardamom powder. grind them well.  For steaming:       Take a vessel and apply some ghee for grease. Then pour the egg mixture into it. Then cover the vessel with a plate. Heat the steamer with the required water. Place the vattalapam vessel into the steamer. Seasame seed chutney (thovayal)

  Ellu thovayal Ellu thovayal (sesame chutney) is a traditional south Indian recipe. It is very spicy and sour recipe. It is also easy to make. This is a very old popular side dish recipe for rice. It is made with sesame seeds. These seeds are very healthy for our body. Its have calcium, protein, iron etc.  Ingredients: Oil 2 tsp 1/2 cup black sesame seed or white seed 5 Dry red chilli 6 garlic  Tamarind (1 gooseberry size)  Coconut pieces 2 or 3 Preparation: Heat oil in a pan. Add sesame seeds, dry chilli, saute for 1 minute. Then add garlic, Tamarind and coconut pieces. fry them till it turns slightly brown. Then turn off the flame and leave it cool. After getting cool transfer them into a mixie jar. Grind with the required amount of water and salt. It should be a thick and smooth paste. Then transfer into a bowl. Now thovaiyal is ready. serve with tamarind rice or lemon rice. This combination will be amazing.
