3 type of southindian red chutney

 



Red chutney is a very popular dish in south indian tiffin recipe. It is very hot and tasty. Indians likes to eat with idli, dosa, vada, and bondas recipes. It is very easy to make. And I give here very simple methods to make red chutney. Try these. 

Easy tomato chutney:

   Take 2 tomatoes, 5 red chillies, 3 or 4 garlic, and add salt to taste. Grind them to a paste. For tempering, Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan then add 1 tsp mustard seeds and crackle them. Add a grinded paste to a pan, mix well leave it boil for 1 minute. Turn off the flame. Now hot and red chutney is ready.

Simple shallots chutney

     Take 15 to 20 shallots, 5 to 10 dried red chillies, and 4 garlic. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan add shallots fry 1 minute then add red chillies saute occasionally. Fry untill it turn transculant. Cool them and grind to a paste. Now spicy chutney is ready. 

Delicious red chutney 

     Take 3 onion, 3 tomatoes and 5 red dry chillies. Heat 3 or 4 tbsp oil in a pan. Keep medium flame. Add onions and saute 1 minute. Then add red chillies saute 2 min and then add tomatoes and salt to taste mix well them. Cook untill mushy and soft. Turn off the flame. Leave it cool them and then grind to a paste. For tempering take a pan. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and crackle them. Add paste into a pan mix well. Boil it one minute. Transfer a bowl. Now tasty red chutney ready.

South indian muslim style mutton curry

 Mutton curry Ingredients: 1/2 kg mutton 1/2 cup oil  2 Small  Cinnamon sticks  2 cloves 3 cardamoms 2 green chillies 5 sliced onions (medium)  3 chopped tomatoes  2 tablespoonful Ginger and garlic paste  2 tbsp chili powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp cumin powder  1 tsp fennel powder  1 tsp pepper  1 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder Curd 2 tbsp 1/4 cup coriander leaves  1/4 cup Coconut paste 1 tbsp cashew nut paste(optional) 2 potatoes (optional) Salt to taste  Method:         Heat oil in a pressure cooker. South indian Chicken curry  Ingredients: 1/2 kg chicken pieces 125 ml oil Cinnamon one small stick 2 cardamom 2 cloves  Shallot 200 grams  Onion 1 medium size 5 tomatoes 3 tbsp Ginger and garlic paste 2 tbsp cumin powder 1 tsp pepper powder 1 tbsp chilli powder 1 tsp fennel powder 2 green chilli 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp garam masala 2 tbsp Curd  2 tbsp coriander powder 1/4 cup coconut pieces Cashew 25 g  1 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves 2 or 3 potatoes ( cut into 4 pieces) Method:               Take coconut, roasted gram and cashew nut.
